The rules for using AirQuery’s website, apps and embedded analytics — what you can do, what we owe you, and where the limits are.
Use AirQuery for your business. Do not resell it, reverse engineer it, break it, or use it to build a copy of it. Keep your credentials safe.
Your data stays yours. Our software stays ours. AI output can be wrong, so check anything that matters before you act on it — that is exactly why we show you the query and the reasoning.
If your company has signed a contract with us, that contract wins over this page.
The summary is for orientation. The sections below are the actual terms, and they govern if the two ever appear to disagree.
These Terms are an agreement between you and AirQuery, an Orbit Analytics product based in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. They cover airquery.com, the Wise App for Slack, Teams and web, our embedded analytics SDK and APIs, documentation, trials, previews and demos (together, the “Services”).
Using the Services means accepting these Terms. If you are using them for an employer or client, you are confirming you have authority to accept on their behalf, and “you” means that organisation.
If there is a signed contract, it wins. Where your organisation has a master subscription or services agreement with us, that document governs and prevails over these Terms wherever they conflict. These Terms then cover only what it does not.
Trials, betas and previews are provided as they are, may change or disappear, and come with no availability or support commitment unless we have agreed one in writing.
You need to be 18 or over. Give us accurate details and keep them current. Keep your credentials to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account, and sharing a login is the most common way that goes wrong.
If you think someone else has access, tell us immediately at security@airquery.com.
Where your employer provisioned your access, they administer it, and they can change or remove it without our involvement.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for your own business purposes, for as long as these Terms are in force.
That includes using the answers, queries, charts and exports AirQuery generates for you in your business, internally or with your customers, without any further permission from us.
You must not, and must not let anyone else:
Good-faith security research is welcome and is not a breach of this section — see the disclosure note in our Privacy Statement.
If you embed AirQuery inside your own product, some extra rules apply, because your end users are reaching our software through you.
You own your data. Everything you or your organisation submits or connects stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to host, process and transmit it in order to run the Services for you, as described in the Privacy Statement.
We own our software. The Services, and the intellectual property in them, belong to AirQuery and its licensors. These Terms grant permission to use them and transfer no ownership. Rights we have not expressly granted are reserved.
The models and definitions you build inside a Thinkbox — your metrics, your rules, your semantics — are yours. We will not repurpose them for other customers.
Tell us what is wrong with the product; it is how it improves. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely and without owing you anything. That is the trade for a low-friction feedback channel. Do not send us anything confidential, or anything you are not free to share.
AirQuery uses AI to interpret questions and produce queries, answers and reasoning traces. AI output can be wrong. It can be incomplete, it can misread intent, and it can be confidently mistaken.
AirQuery is built to reduce that risk rather than hide it: answers are grounded in the governed metrics and rules your team defined, and the generated query and reasoning are shown so they can be checked. That is what “Deterministic Intelligence” means on this site — the same question against the same model and data returns the same answer, and you can see how it got there.
It does not mean the answer is guaranteed correct, and nothing on our website should be read as that promise. Review output before relying on it. Do not use the Services as the only basis for a decision with legal, financial, medical or safety consequences without a human being checking it.
We change the Services continuously. Features get added, improved and occasionally retired. Where we remove something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice.
We work hard to keep the Services up but these Terms alone do not promise a level of availability. If your organisation has a subscription with a service level agreement, that document sets the uptime commitment and any credits — not this page.
AirQuery talks to systems we do not run: warehouses, Slack, Microsoft Teams, identity providers, model providers. Your use of those is governed by your agreement with them. If one of them is down or changes its behaviour, it can affect AirQuery, and that is outside our control.
Making sure you have the rights and permissions to connect a given system is your call, not ours.
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Statement, which forms part of these Terms. The short version: we do not sell your data, and we do not train foundation models on your content.
Where we process data on behalf of a customer organisation, we do so as a processor under their contract and our Data Processing Addendum, not under these Terms.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. AIRQUERY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR TRADE USAGE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
The capitals are a legal convention for making this conspicuous, not us raising our voice. Some places do not allow these exclusions, so parts may not apply to you, and nothing here removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AIRQUERY WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS.
Any claim must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it, unless the law where you live forbids that limit.
None of this limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You will defend and indemnify AirQuery and its people against third-party claims, and the resulting losses, liabilities, damages, costs and reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your data, or your violation of law or someone else’s rights.
We will tell you promptly about any such claim, let you run the defence, and cooperate at your expense. You may not settle in a way that admits fault on our behalf or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.
The Services are subject to US export control and sanctions law, and you must comply with it. You confirm you are not located in, and not a national or resident of, a comprehensively sanctioned country or territory, and that you do not appear on a restricted party list.
You must not use the Services in connection with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons or missile technology, or any other prohibited end use.
These Terms run from the first time you use the Services until they end. You can end them whenever you like by stopping, and uninstalling anything you installed.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud or illegal activity, if your use puts our systems or other customers at risk, or if the law requires it. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right — immediate suspension is for cases where waiting would cause harm.
Sections 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17 and 18 survive the end of these Terms, along with anything else that by its nature should.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction, and both of us submit to it.
If mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, this section does not take that away.
There is no compulsory arbitration clause and no class action waiver in these Terms. If we ever add one we will tell you before it takes effect, because burying that in an update is not something we want to do to you.
We may revise these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services afterwards means you accept them; if you do not, stop using the Services.
These Terms and the Privacy Statement are the whole agreement about the Services, and replace earlier understandings on that subject — subject always to a signed contract under section 1.
If a provision is unenforceable it is narrowed or removed to the minimum extent needed and the rest stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean giving it up.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate, or with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Neither of us is liable for failures caused by events genuinely beyond our control. Paying money is never one of them.
These Terms create rights for you and AirQuery, and for nobody else.
