AirQuery doesn't move your data. The Data Intelligence Agent compiles every question into native SQL for your platform, pushes it down to your warehouse, and streams the result back. Your governance, your roles, your row-level security, and your data residency stay exactly where they are.
A typical implementation consists of multiple Thinkboxes — several per department or domain — and each Thinkbox contains exactly one Thinkmap. Every Thinkmap is built from multiple semantic models (metrics, entities, relationships) layered over multiple federated data models that map those concepts to physical tables across whichever platforms you run.
The federated data models do the heavy lifting: native SQL pushdown to each platform, zero data copied out, governance enforced at query time. Deploy in the same region as your data — zero egress.
